.net framework service packs

When upgrading to 2.0 or 3.0 or whatever, do I still need to keep the previous service packs, or can I delete them through my "Add/Remove Programs" console?

No need to remove them just install the latest it will take care of it for you. If your on windows 7 you should be on .net 3.5 anyway.
