Is it safe to use CCleaner in 7 build 7100?

    another good reg cleaner ive used is regcure, but i tried it with w7, with problems or not booting up properly/at all, not compatible with it as of yet, but when it does, its worth a look :)

    So, when will we know when CCleaner registry cleaner is safe to use on Windows 7?

    To the poster before me: "if you did this on some of the other sites that I admin I would straight Ban!"
    That's just as not cool as what he did - why lower yourself to the same level by reacting that harshly?

    It works perfectly fine with RTM ( all versions ) I currently use it every now and then, and have no problems to report.

    Glad I'm not on any of those sites where you have a policy of smacking down people for stating a matter-of-fact opinion, his comment about registry cleaners is wholly a just, accurate, and fair remark...

    Yep,, Registry Cleaners are pushed too hard as a Cure All.
    They are not, never have been and never will be.

    But, the best way to learn is by living. So, use them with caution, but don't be surprised when one day it hoses up and you have to nuke and reload.
