Windows 7 - GBPVR discussion

Hello,

I'm using GBPVR as my only TV software on my computer with Hauppage PVR-USB2 and on my girlfriend's computer. She connects to my computer over network to watch the TV with Windows 7 7077 32 bits.

The programmer of this software mainly worked on Windows XP, so on Vista and Seven it can have problems.

I had a problem on my computer at first when starting the TV. The picture was freezing and I had to restart the TV in the software, then it worked. I solved this problem recently by replacing the CODEC in GBPVR by MPV and MPA:

There is still one problem, it's on the client. It often fails to start the TV if the buffer is less than 4 seconds. I need to put it to 8 seconds to have something stable.

If anybody here is using GBPVR you can post your experience with it, we may learn together.

Note: I posted my problem on GBPVR forum and resolved the first problem described here, but not the second.
