Laplink Incremental images,need help

I have Laplink disk image but I just cannot seem to get it to do incremental images.I am pretty sure that I am just not getting it configured properly.
So I need a step by step in how to get incremental onto my external drive "E" where I do have a base image of "C".
At the moment it is storing the incremental on my "C" internal drive.
I have been trying different ways but with no success for literally months now.
So if you are using Laplink can you help?

That is not what I need. The problem is that I just don't get the Laplink instructions.I'm having a mental block, that is why I specifically asked for someone who has Laplink to assist me.
