    Autocad2000

I recently had to buy a new computer, and it came pre-installed with win 7 64bit.
When I tried to install AutoCad2000, it tells me that the program is incompatible, because it is 32 bit.
Yes, I have tried running it in compatability mode, but it still won't install.
Upgrading to a newer version of AutoCad is out of the question because of the cost.
I have installed other software that is 32 bit with no problem. Why won't AutoCad install?
If anyone can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have your OEM license code ? If so , you can install and activate the same version on windows 7 32 bit to run autocad 2000 properly on it . Otherwise you are to upgrade autocad .

Try to run AutoCAD 2000 in Windows XP Mode. See if it works. AutoCAD 2000 was released in 1999 so apparently it's only designed for, and should only work with Windows '98/ME/2000/XP computers, and it's a very obsolete app too. Get AutoCAD 2010 or 2011.
