    Notate image pdf?

I scanned a magazine recipe as an image in pdf format. Is there a way that I can write a rough note on that image and save the image with my note?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Can't you right click on image as either send to or save as my note?

Sorry, don't get it. If I have an image (not OCR) file 'xxxx.pdf' and wish to ADD a text notation on the image document, you're saying to click on the filename within explorer and...????

    Don't be sorry!
I was thinking of something else when I gave you wrong info.
I thought you wanted to change from a pdf file to something else.

nitro pdf reader is supposed to do it for free. I downloaded but haven't installed yet. It got some good write-ups on ghacks or one of the other review sites like download.com.

Do you have Adobe acrobat, or just the reader?

The reader. However if there's a way to add the text using the $ version I might be able to do so with Nitro pdf's beta that I recently downloaded?

OTOH, since what I have is an image, is there a way to convert the pdf to an open image extension and then use paint or similar software to write on the image?

Your guess is as good as mine. I just noticed a write-up for Nitro. Haven't even installed yet. My PDF needs are modest. Mostly I use a PDF print driver just to save online receipts as PDF. In fact for PDF reader I use an old 2.x version of FoxIt since it's smaller and loads faster.
