Windows 7: WLM Random Crashes

Hello. I have been having random crashes with Windows Live Mail from day one (using both Vista and Windows 7). I can't find the source of the problem, or the cure. About every third time I open Windows Live Mail I get the error message "Windows Live Mail has stopped working" right on startup, and I have to close it.



Here is a screenshot of the event viewer log if that is of any help. Any input would be appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I didn't know whether it should go in the Mail forum or Crashes and Debugging.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

Backup your emails (if necessary)
Uninstall the Windows Live Essentials (to include Windows Live Mail)

Run "sfc.exe /scannow" (without the quotes) from an elevated (Run as adminstrator) Command Prompt.
This is just a "just in case" step

Then reinstall Windows Live Mail and test to see if the error message is gone.

Did all that. SFC found no issues. Still crashes though, so remove/reinstall didn't fix it. I am thinking perhaps it's an antivirus issue. NOD32 causing it perhaps, since it integrated itself into WLM.

Can you disable/uninstall the NOD32 temporarily to test that?

I did just that. Well, I cut the settings back so NOD32 wasn't so agressive. I have yet to see a crash since, and that was a day ago. I think that was the issue. I also checked out Wilder's Security Forums and found that tons of people were having the same issues with NOD32 and WLM. Thanks for the help!
