    Itunes/L4D issue...

Hey everybody, first of all, the pertinent specs:
    Biostar TForce TP45HP Mobo
    Q9400 @ 3.2 (with a Sunbeam Core Contact)
    Nvidia GTX 260
    OCZ Reapers (2x2gb) - 800mhz
Windows 7 64 7068 (I know, don't have an external HD to backup for the upgrade to 7100 yet)

Anyways, I realize iTunes has some issues with Windows 7..other than this problem, however, I have no qualms whatsoever. Hopefully someone knows something about this.

Anyway, I frequently play L4D with the volume turned down and my iTunes going (maybe not so much anymore, since I downloaded the Macho Man sound pack!). Anyway, it works fine, no crashes or anything, but right when I hit the loading screen for any campaign out of a lobby, the volume goes super quiet, prompting me to turn it the hell up so I can hear it. A few seconds of this pass by and the volume will crank back up to its normal level, which results in a super loud song for a few seconds (as I've had to turn it up a bunch). Then, unexplainably, the volume will go back down to the previous level of super quiet after a few seconds.

After this initial craziness, the volume stabilizes at the quiet level for the entirety of the campaign. It'll only spike back up when I quit L4D or when I start another campaign (always at the loading screen). It's weird.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi kershner,

You might set this under sounds in the control panel to "do nothing". I've seen where it causes some problems like this before. Hope it works. :)
