You can get hold of VLC here  It initially stood for VideoLan Client but now its VLC media player VLC media player - VideoLAN Wiki

If you are meaning the TrialPay offer, then I can see where you're coming from. However, this is optional, and you can just download the Free edition, which is what I did. The offer refers to the Plus edition, which includes the AV component.
