    Keeping It Real

I am about to install Windows 7 RC but I am going to have to backup files first. Many on them can hold only on Dual Layer DVDs. Anyways, not much attention is being paid to Real Player. It was a great player until version 11. It was to clunky and weird. It was a hybrid of WMP 11 and MusicMatch Jukebox but with a pinch of version 10. I used to complain about the color. Now I regret it. I hope they release a new version soon. It's such a great player and Rhapsody is not. I hope they don't replace RP with Rhapsody for real.

Really? The new WMP that comes packaged with Se7en is quite powerful, though not finished. But that along with Windows Media Center are a pretty potent mix. I personally don't use any Third-Party Media Software.

Ive never really liked realplayer and havent had it on my system for a while. I was glad when the BBC switched from real media.

Why do you think WMP is unfinished?

Many years ago Real started to get shady with some things they've done. Some people consider it malware or badware. Ever since then, I do. Don't know what they're doing nowadays and don't want to, because of this.

I really enjoy using WinAmp for audio and PowerDVD for video.
