At the end of my wit with windows live messenger.. Constant problem!

OK so I have been constantly trying to fix my messenger problem but I cannot seem to fix it, as you can see I'm running a 32 bit version of win7 ultimate and I have never had any problems with Messenger I can't understand what is wrong.

I have tried to re-install, run as admin, compatibility mode, other versions, portable versions, un-installing Java, several helplines (who were all pathetic btw), running in safe mode, scanned with 2 different anti viruses (eset and AVG), completed 2 clean installs (deleting everything to do with live including registries, folders, appdata and credentials, followed every bit of Microsoft help they had to give and still nothing i sign in then crash and get this error.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: msnmsgr.exe
    Application Version: 14.0.8117.416
    Application Timestamp: 4bc935af
    Fault Module Name: msnmsgr.exe
    Fault Module Version: 14.0.8117.416
    Fault Module Timestamp: 4bc935af
    Exception Code: c0000005
    Exception Offset: 0026ca50
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 2057
    Or this one

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BEX
    Application Name: msnmsgr.exe
    Application Version: 14.0.8117.416
    Application Timestamp: 4bc935af
    Fault Module Name: unknown
    Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
    Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
    Exception Offset: 00000000
    Exception Code: c0000005
    Exception Data: 00000008
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 2057
Same 2 errors every time, and once I click 'check online for a solution to this,' that crashes then just closes no solution.

Hi Tekken and welcome to the forums,

Are you receiving any error messages either on screen or in the windows event log? If so please let us know.

To do a clean reinstall of Messenger, follow these steps.

    1. Download the Microsoft Windows Installer Clean up utility
    2. Run it and look for live messenger in the list of programs.
    3. Then click REMOVE."Messenger" folder:
    - 32bit Windows = %systemdrive%\Program Files\Windows Live
    - 64bit Windows = %systemdrive%\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live
    4. Navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft and delete the folder called "Messenger"
    5. Download a new copy of windows Live and install messenger.

god only knows i did have msg plus but it never failed me before, however i don't know how to do a complete un-install including message plus reg's because i have no idea what they are.

Also I am using custom themes but this was not the problem as i reverted all to default and no difference.

thank you very much for taking time to my problem :)

What would a simple uninstall and re-install of window live messenger do?
IMO If I something isn't working they way I like it I uninstall it with Revo Unistaller.
Then I go to the software site, download the item and install it.
    Just a thought...
