File Searching 64bit Utility???

Hi!
I've just recently bought a PC with Windows 7 64 bit on it. I had been using a 32bit Windows XP SP3 PC before this, and there have been a lot of softwares and utlities I've not been able to find for a 64 bit PC.

I had been using a utility called Avafind for searching files and folders on my PC. It creates a one time search index of all the computer drives and is much much better than the default windows search on Windows 7.

Here's a screenshot page of the program: Avafind Screenshot

Please can someone suggest a simple 64 bit utility like Avafind, which can stay in system tray and can be brought up to search for files on hard drive? The default windows search is not visible in the system tray and I have to use explorer to search for stuff and cannot allow it to enable whole hard disk indexing as that might slow the computer a lot.

Thanks a lot for any help.

Is this program 64 bit?? Cause I think I could use Avafind if My PC won't crash due to 32 bit file indexing software... I checked it's homepage through google, and I could see no support for 64 bit systems, though it supports Windows 7.

I found this page, [ link] and If I'm unable to find any 64 bit program, I guess, I'll use this instead.

Hi!
I've installed and been working on everything 1.2 since some time...

Please could you guide me to how to disable the notification access warning permission of everything on windows 7 asking me on every restart that I need to allow it to make changes to the computer...

What changes does this program make anyways? I thought it was just an indexing program. Also, How can I disable this permission check on startup of computer? Would allowing the application to run as admin solve the problem? Is it safe to allow it to be run as admin??

^^I checked locate32 before... didn't install it, cause it does not INDEX the files... I have to press ENTER or click on FIND FILES to view my search.... whereas in avafind and everything, it shows the files in realtime...

Thanks, would have loved to install the 64bit version, but it's not indexing the files in realtime.

Any idea of how to change settings for everything, the problem I'm having with it??
