I have no errors on any of my machines running the latest Skype. I just go to Skype official website €“ download Skype free now for free calls and internet calls and hit "install Skype". It just works.

(All my machines are running Win7 x64 7127 at the moment, but have had no problems with Skype on any Win7 build or Vista x64.)
