x64 Compatible CD/DVD Emulator that WORKS? Mount .iso w/o burning

    Driving me nuts.
I've trried the microsoft emulator - FAIL - the Paragon [usually dependable] - FAIL - the CPQ USB Drivekey makeboot utility - FAIL - the PartitionLogic multi-drive emulator - FAIL....

anyone know a fer-sure solution to this? Create a virtual CD, mount iso, run iso ....

    thx

I haven't tried to do much with it. Just mount an .iso when I need to. But MagicDisc seems to work fine on my Vista64 Home Premium SP1.

The best and it's free. Tested and works (I use it myself): SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive

    i am stoopid

i admit stoopidity... i too had this one installed.
I just couldn't get the hang of it. so I mount an iso that is supposedly orginally-intended for burning out a Live CD... run-from-cd. so once 'mounted' on the 'n' drive, what next? how do I get it to play ball?
