    Software to boost volume


    Is there any software with that purpose?


    I already know how to increase the volume and all that, i just want to know if there's any software that can boost the volume beyond the max.

    some media players, for example vlc, allow you to set the volume up to 400%, but only for playing back audio and video.

    i'm unaware of anything that will boost the volumes of games, or the windows sounds - this would probably just introduce unwanted distortion anyway.

    all i can suggest for these is a hardware solution - a bigger amplifier or louder speakers.
