    HEEELP! WET not even OPENING!


    i just got windows 7 for my birthday yesterday, aand have windows xp. i downloaded WET and used it. it stopped in the middle so i went to close it and re-open it. i cannot get it to open again! i tried re-downloading, and using the one that is on the windows 7 disk... HELP!

    Also, have you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor? Start there.

    It might be better if you can drag your User folders to external anyway, since WET can fail and also import corruption in Settings.

    Do you really have to back everything uP? What if there is nothing i care about on my computer?

    If there is nothing important you need to backup, why are you messing with WET anyway?

    In all honesty, why let a software package determine what is important to you? WET is useless, in my mind, because I'd rather go through a system and pull out what I need. Then I am sure to grab everything. If there is something you need, just back it up to an external drive, flash drive, or another computer. If not, then you are ready to install.
