Is there anyway I can get a Dos CLI working in Windows 7 ?
Even a CD which can boot and wake up in dos would be good !
Any thoughts greatly appreciated

DosBox installed and working but the Mount feature has defeated me so far.
What is the simples way of getting a folder worth of data recognized ?
So far its sitting at a Dos prompt of " Z "
Many many thanks for the help ! Greatly appreciated !
Update:- A wiki help page yielded this:-
http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Basic_Set...tion_of_DosBox
for a program in a file called test in a folder called test yielded
MOUNT C C:\TEST
Z:\>c:
c:TEST
FIXED IT !
Brilliant !
Many thanks for the first clue !

DOSBox seems to work quite well. I'd just like to find a way to make it automatically run a DOS program with just one mouse click. The DOSBox website doesn't seem to address this issue. Any ideas out there?????
Thanks in advance for your help.

There is still a "COMMAND" CLI in Win7. I use it quite often and it works fine. Just click on RUN, then type COMMAND in the box.
I do have one old DOS program that will not run under WIN-7's COMMAND, so I have to use DOSBox instead.

Bat files still work in DosBox and I use P.bat to Invoke Portex an address book database from Heaven ! I've used it from the mid 1980s as a simple general purpose very fast database which searches on partial strings !

@Bill037..You might like to try Winbatch by going to WinBatch®, the batch language for Windows, your scripting solution. and downloading a free trial copy. Its batch language programming in windows on steroids!! You can control literally anything from serial ports to web pages with it..
I have dos program that needs full screen support. the problem is that with dosBox the program is working but the problem with the dosBox is that dos box do not have EDIT. so doxBox partial solves my problem. on other hand i tried and exDOS and after many tested programs and this one doesn't support full screen. so can really some have solution to this problem with full screen needs of dos programs run under Win 7 32 bit system
