Windows Live Programs do NOT Install

Windows Live Essentials do NOT install they give me this error, at the end of each failure it says this "Messenger couldn't be installed because we had trouble install these requirements

Microsoft Application Error Reporting
Try installing Windows Live programs again. Programs were not installed because the installation was canceled. aborted:0x080004004
and then it says it like 3 more time for other thing and it does this suff for mail and movie make and photo gallery. i try again and restart clean the registry and hard drive uninstall the rest of the old windows live????? HELP!

I had no issues when I installed these. I will note the new Messenger takes getting used to due to the changes made.

Hi,

Have a look at this thread on Windows Live Solution Center:

Just installed Windows 7... Windows Live Mail is running OK, but I can't manage to run the installation of Messenger...

It might be helpful, on page 2 is also explained how to download the full installer
and do an installation from your harddrive.
