Nice find but i won't be touching any tweaking utilities as I think Windows 7 is speedy enough and I can edit my registry till the cows come home. Even the tweakers for Vista that came 2 years after the RTM were not even 100%.

    Well spotted though

Well ,it was about time! Yamicsoft has always done a good job ,and I'm using Vista Manager on Seven. It's completely compatible and now we will see how this works!

Glad to hear it's not killing systems out there. I have been using it quite a bit, no trouble at all.

hmm one thing I dont like is when you run the 1-click cleaner, it goes ahead and scans and then auto deletes without any sort of preview or prompt so you have no idea what its deleting.

Windows 7 Manager & Windows Live mail

It appears that everytime I use the one click cleaner option it deletes all my email contacts in windows live mail. Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks for the heads up Captain,

    I like checking out apps.

    Seems to work fine.

The Disk Analysis takes forever - I prefer the one in Glaryutilities (free).

The Glary Context Menu Manager is also very useful - it all works great on 7100 x64 (except the reg defrag).

If you must use a Registry cleaner - again, I have tested the Glary one and have never had it offer anything dangerous - it also backs up just those entries, instead of the entire registry, if you want.

    Glary Utilities

The nearest paid equivalent is Auslogics Boostspeed - if you like Tweakers, they have a 30 day trial - the Yamicasoft is only 15 days.

You may like to give it a try.

Auslogics - Download Auslogics BoostSpeed 4.

Thanks Captain great find there. The ability to turn off the auto-run for hard drives makes it worth it. I have used it on Windows 7 7100 64bit with no problems so far. Some nice customize features too. Agree the one click needs 'proceed or cancel' buttons for repair. Use the boot configure, since I now install Windows 7 on my Raptor and wanted to delete windows 7 off my other drive (have windows xp 64 on another drive now for backup), have to admit had my fingers crossed on that one .
