    Quick question regarding rocketdock

afternoon everyone, just a quick one, i have rocketdock set to open with windows but sometimes it wont load up. It shows in the task manager that its running but even when i try and open it again it wont appear at all.

Sometimes I also get the famous message that rocketdock did not load properly and do i want it to load default icons so i say no and it then appears shortly after this time round.

I would just like to know why the program wont always load with windows sometimes. I have given my user account full control of the folder as well as the admin account which is also myself.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

That is strange. Are you sure it is in the startup programs - check in msconfig. If not, put the shortcut of the Rocketdock.exe into the startup folder. If you type shell:startup into the start/search field and hit Enter, the startup folder will appear.

    Rocket Dock

My install would not open on a boot. Start option was checked in options and entrys for start up were in place. Still no Dice. I used task scheduler to write a task to boot it on start up and it now comes up on a boot.
Not a real good fix but a good workaround.

See post #2 which is an easier option - I think.

    Dunno

In my case the entry for rocket was already in the startup folder. I have since removed it. (stop attempts at multiple instances)
