I think the only solution is to downgrade the software to Sony Vegas Pro 8.1.
LOL. You do realise that the OP's version costs about £40 and the version you suggest costs about £450. Thats some "downgrade"

For what its worth i have both Vegas 8c Pro (the dear one) and MSP (the much cheaper one) working fine under 7100 32bit.
Cant help with the OP's problem as i havent had it. I did install both using compatability mode though.

How do you install it? Mine does this when trying ''Run as administrator''

After pressing ignore several times, I got this error when running the app as admin

It says: ''The application was not able to start properly (and the error code) Click on OK to close it.''

    Any help? Anyone?

Zealox: I have checked your PM, I have installed the Vegas you told me to install as normal, it gives the errors of the two pictures I posted earlier, and yes, I have uninstalled 9.0

As i said i haven't had any probelms so cant really advise you but this is what i would do (i dont know if it makes any difference though.).
First make sure there are no Sony folders in program files. It could be that Vegas cant access the folders already on your PC for some reason.
when you run the install it unpacks all the data to a folder called Sony install (i think, im at work at the moment), it then launches set up. I can see you have got at least as far as that. It might be worth running the set up (from the setup folder) in compatability mode (let windows choose it) rather than letting the installer run it.
Thats all i can think of at the moment.

OK, I have uncompressed those files in a folder created by me in the Desktop, and then runned the two Installer files, first Setup.exe and then Vegas80_enu.msi, first Setup.exe in compatibility mode set at ''previos version of windows'' Failed at registering modules. Then I have cancelled, and tried to run it normal, same thing. With the other installer, the same old thing in both Windows XP Service Pack 3 mode, admin mode and in normal: Fails at registering those ****ing modules T_T...
