Headphones show up as Speaker/HP

Hey everyone,

Whenever I plug headphones into my laptop, they show up as Speaker/HP in Control Panel. Even without headphones connected, they show up as one (Speaker/HP).

These headphones are plugged via the 3.5mm headphone jack.

BUT, whenever I plug my Logitech G35 7.1 Headset in, it shows up as G35, as that is powered via USB.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

it is how the driver labels your inputs and it just means that when you plug in your headphones it stops output to the speakers, your headset is its own as its usb and its own device. hope this makes sense to you. are you having trouble muting the speakers when the headphones are plugged in?

First off, thanks for replying.

Nope, I just want to change some enhancements like how I am allowed using my headset.

Using regular headphones, I have no ability to change the Windows Enhancements.

those enhancements may not be designed to work with headphones. can you post a screenshot of what it shows you in both.
