    right drivers for S7110

[QUOTE=matsu;321890]I recently installed Windows 7 on an S7110 and I still cannot get audio to work on the built-in speakers.

I am currently using the Microsoft High Definition Audio driver and this makes it possible for me to use external speakers and microphone using the 3.5mm plugs on the side of the computer.

If I plug in headphones these appear under playback devices, but the internal speakers do not ever appear.

On board sound is a Realtek ALC262 and if I install the latest drivers (from October 2009) the speakers appear under playback devices, but I still cannot get any sound. At low volume settings I get static, but that's it.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problem?

Ok after one hour...i have managed to put the sound working on this laptop windows 7.......lol
I whent to the control painel and uninstal the previous audio driver and after it i instal this driver Realtek 6305_vista_PG537
from here :RealTek AC'97 Audio CODECs Driver v.6305 download for Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7, Windows 7 64-bit
hope it can help you also..
    Best regards

    Please update the bios :)

Here is the link for the bios:

    http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/downlo...20etc.%29_True

    Please install the last version:
    BIOS Flash (ISO CD-Image) - Lifebook S7110 1.35
    10.09.2008 24,36 MB

I have also the driver Realtek 5.10.0.5229 from 8/03/2006

    And now all works fine
