Realtek AC'97 Audio No 5.1

Ok, i cannot install the HD drivers, well i can but they will not uninstall the current driver i have which is 6.0.1.6293. I have tried an OEM version (HP Pavilion) and it said i did not meet system requrements. I tryed to uninstall the driver myself and install the HD drivers but it did not work, and when i booted again windows searched for the drivers and istalled them. I cannont get this to work. I would like to have my 5.1 work.

I found a little solution sort of but i still can listen to music in 5.1 like XP. I go into my sound effects manager and change it to 6 speakers 5.1, but it doesnt acctually change in the setting but i can hear that all the speakers now come on. And then i goto test my speakers using the control panel thing and i can hear them. the only problem is the system still cant use the other 3 speakers. I cant get the Rear Speakers and Center speakers to work when i do this, the front speakers and sub are the only ones that work. How can i fix this?

Hi NEDMInsane,
Maybe there is a 5.1 driver on this page you can try. None seem to be made for Windows 7 but a vista driver might work.
