Where is Volume Control ? Mic Enable & Disable

I know what you need

1. Go to Start and click on control Panel.
2. Click in Sound, then a new window will open up.
3. In the new windows click on the tab "Recording” and right click in the window and click on Show Disabled devices.
4. Now check if the microphone is listed there and highlight the microphone and click on "Set as Default" device.
5. Now right click on it and choose enable.
Doing this will enable the built-in Microphone. :)

I'm having the same problem, however uncheck the description above (listening) it still is continuous enabled.
I can't see the micro in the audiomixer. (R Klick on the sound pict. taskbar.)

Audio-control options show the mic. and it's incoming soundlevel bar.

Even sliding down the input volume won't stop the micro picking up sound and singing around.

So this won't work

The only way seems to buy a micr. that can be switched off.

Here I found at last the volume control which really put the thing down.
But with enabling Skype I need to put it on again.
Is there a way tot pop it up in the audiomixer (taskbar)

Type mmsys.cpl in the Start command search box..

Would be nice to have a micr. volume control or software-switch in the taskbar.

The micr. becomes only visible in the taskbar sound contr. (R kl) when "Listening to this device" is selected in which case the mice is active.

Think I finally got it done

Does anyone know where to definite adjust the volume of the above posted mike?
Or the mute function.
Every time I restart, the mike is automatical preset to 100% and the audiosystem starts to sing around loudly.
Of coarse I have now a way to mute it with the mixer, but why is that not stored somewhere?
I'm looking for the register setting.

Bernardus,

I think you should have made a new thread and not highjacked one started 3 years ago?

Plus, it's probably not helpful that your screen shots are not in English.

SING AROUND LOUDLY is open to some interpretation for starters. <g>

My Windows 7 is keeping my volume where I left it, albeit mine all are maxed at 100%.

I'd highlight your Microphone on the Recording Tab (of Sound) and click Properties, what you need to adjust might be in there.
