    Fatality Series Front Panel Problem

    Hi guys!

Just had my nightmare barebones bundle shipped back to me after a repair to find there is seemingly no power to the I/O front panel for my Fatality Series Sound Card as the lights don't power up. This was working seemingly fine prior to the transport. The headphone jack works and the system recognises that headphones are connected but the volume knob does not function from the front panel.

Took the case open and quadruple checked that the cables were properly seated and in the correct way at both the sound card end and the front panel end and still no joy. I then again removed both ends and firmly reseated them, making sure they were not shimmyed in or bent and still no joy.

    Could this be driver related?

Or perhaps even connected with the BSOD problem i experienced before?(https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ndom-bsod.html)

RMA'ing this could be an issue as me being the extremely clever individual threw away the packaging (yes I am a massive fool)

I have an Xfi with the disc drive slot front I/O panel. Other than possibly the basic Xfi drivers the only other thing is the interconnecting cables. If the cables are connected correctly, and I'd reseat both cables at both ends again, then it has to be a hardware problem and most likely in the card.
