USB MIC/Headset

I purchased a USB MIC/Headset and set all the settings as instructed in other posts. There is STILL a 1 second delay between the sound actually happening and the sound reaching the headset this is maddening while attempting to record my singing. It is OBVIOUSLY an OS issue and I for one would love to see it resolved. Since the USB Mic/Headset does not use sound drivers it IS NOT REPEAT NOT a driver issue. I have set the record settings to 0 and muted it as well there is STILL a 1 second delay. FIX IT dont dance around the issue JUST FIX IT

I had the same problem. Return the USB MIC/Headphone and pick another brand. Fixed my problem here. So far the "Plantronics" have been the best. Next is the "Logitech". These two seem to work well. Several others did not work at all or had sound problems.

Well since USB headsets do not use a driver I highly doubt that was more than an advertizement.
