Windows 7 - 7000 audio

7000 audio

A generic audio driver gets installed with installation. If you are not happy with that the Realtek drivers works beautifully with this build and installed with no effort.

Obviously everybody will have a different experience but mine has so far been flawless.

Thanks echrada, always good to know the latest, particularly when it's first hand.

Just installed the R210 Realtek drivers here too - All functions available

Some of the other builds had some items missing in the custom control panel so an improvement there, build is looking, and sounding, good

the mic simply refuses to work with the drivers installed....

this is important to me since i also record lectures so that is not possible..

Good point. I'll have to go back and see which CPU / chipset combo I have in my Tablet.

I notice that the 2.12 driver is available to download on a site but I don't remember which one and I haven't checked the official site to see if it's available there too.

I don't get a RealTek driver from anywhere but their site - I'll take the slow DL speed to the reliability of the driver any day
