I have an HP HDX 9000: 20" screen behemoth. I sent it in for repairs and they upgraded my whole rig from an ATI 2600XT to a nVidia 8800M GTS. Much stronger graphics, but a little annoying when using the HDMI on my 42" Vizio HDTV. On my systems with ATI graphics, I connect the TV with HDMI, set the DEFAULT audio to HDMI and when I disconnect the HDMI, it automatically switches to notebook speakers, with nvidia, this does not happen, I have to manually switch speakers. Also, the ATI perfectly fit the 1920x1080 screen, nvidia had to adjust the pixels to fit losing a few in the process, not a big deal but surprising considering it's HDMI and this is supposed to be solved. Anyone KNOW of an way to have the nvidia video and audio switch automatically when HDMI connectecd or possibly a preset that's best?
