    Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio x64

Hello, my Windows 7 x64 (7100) found after a clean install new optional updates which included drivers for my soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio. I also used the drivers I got with the cd and installed them on my system. Everything is working now except a few options. I get sound in 5.1, but when I select options like X-Fi Crystallizer, X-Fi CMSS-3D or just change the volume bars (FL, FR, RL, etc) nothing happens!

Before I installed Windows7 x64 I was using Windows XP Pro x86 without any problems. When using the above mentioned options they did changed the sound.
Is it possible that I've to download drivers by my self instead of the Windows updates one?
Does somebody know what I'm doing wrong?

    Greeting,
    Jon

I was having the exact same problem so I posted it on the MSI forums (I got mine with an Eclipse SLI) and it turns out that creative recently released a beta windows 7 driver. I downloaded it and installed it and now everything is working great.

You can download it here: Creative Worldwide Support

It says "No search results for XFXA_W7DRVBETA_US_1_04_0000.exe".
And yesterday I also checked for the win7 test drivers and found out that they did exist in x86 but didn't exist in x64 for the X-Fi Xtreme Audio. Or doesn't it matter which type driver I'm using?

It is true that they only list the x86 version but I have win7 x64 and it works fine (the X-Fi Crystalizer is AWESOME!). BTW, the other link is still working for me - it probably has something to do with the countries we live in.

The wierd thing is that the first one is 30 some MB and the other one is around 60 MB. The 60MB one is the one that worked for me so I would probably use that one first.

Thank you so much! It really worked (the second one, didn't try the first one though). The X-Fi Crystalizer is totally AWESOME! I'm gone listing to some great music this weekend.
