    Clicking/hissing while Mp3 / Video playback

Hello everybody and sorry for starting a thrad about a topic that might have been already discussed ... but i didn't find an appropriate solution thus far.

After a longer uptime (more than 2hours) the sound on my win7 pc starts to click and hiss it 3-5 sec intervals, very noticably in classic or melodious music.

my system specs are as follows, all drivers are updated. I tried with booth sound cards .... keeps happening ... i heard about uninstalling the ATK110 ACPI UTILITY, but i'm not sure if that's applicable to me ... it is installed, to completely remove it i have to delete the diver files as well right?

    System Manufacturer/Model Number: Alternate
    OS:Win 7 Home Premium OEM
    CPU:AMD Athlon II X3 435
    Motherboard:Asus M3N78-VM
    Memory:4.096 MB G.Skill NT DDR2-800
    Graphics Card(s):ATI Radeon HD5750
Sound Card:VIA HD vinyl onboard, Soundblaster x-fi surround usb
    Monitor(s) Displays:Dell 19', HP 20' wide
    Hard Drive:Samsung HD502HI, 500 GB, SATA
    PSU:Enermax PRO82+
    Case:Midi-Tower Venga
    Cooling:Cooler Master Hyper TX3 + Enermax UCCL9 Cluster

Do you notice if this happens -after- your computer has entered and came out of sleep or hibernate mode?

sleep audn hibernate are both deactivated, all i ever do is turn off the screens. I got to sleep letting the music run on the pc ... and often when i wake up the clicking is there .... not always in the same strenght though.

    Hissing sounds

    Any resolution?
I'm using Toslink and I need to close and restart the Media Center after idle periods because it starts to make hissing sounds.
