WMP 12 Problem - song pause near the end

i'm using windows 7 build 7100.

every song I hear from the beginning to end, the song stops for half a second and then continue. it always happen 5-10 seconds to the end.

in previous windows 7 version there was a bug that damage the mp3 file but I don't think that is the case.

the file itself is fine. if I play only the problematic part there's no pause.

in any other player it's working fine.

ideas?

WMP 12 - each MP3 track pauses near end

Did anyone find the cause of this? I installed Windows 7 32bit a week ago and this is happening to me whenever I play an album or a playlist. If I play a single track, or if it is the last track of the album/playlist then the track plays without the 2 second pause. I have a clean install on brand new hardware, however, my music library was copied from my Vista machine. I have been in touch with MS about the problem but so far not much help!!

Any suggestions welcome as I have tried everything I can think of.

Thanks.
