Volume icon has completely disappeared.

    Volume icon has completely disappeared.


    Alright guys, so all of the sudden the volume speaker icon disappeared from the notification area. No problem, I thought, as I went into Turn System Icons On or Off. Well, I get in there, and the button is grayed out. Any ideas, apart from reinstalling the sound drivers, which I've already tried?
