Use the creative.com website and give them a try!
Installing these seems to have fixed my issue. I removed whatever driver I was already using and installed the BETA driver, restarted and found the volume to still be at maximum. Once I installed the CCL, adjusted the volume and restarted, the volume was still set at what it was when I shutdown.
