in fact you got a warranty seal on the back of the computer if you oepn it the seal brokes as the warranty....
I tried to go to an msi resellers there, and they told me since i bought the computer in france, the warranty wouldnt work in any another country unless you bought the international warranty wich cost a lot....
After that i think i may be able to repair it for a cheaper price but i need to think about it .
Also i could ask an informatician to look onto my problems but, the windows is in french or english....

Still if you guys have any options i could try, i will be very happy to at least try =)

    Traumi,
My bad I forgot you said this is a laptop. So the seating re-seating thing just ignore please. Wow you may be forced to mail it back to France for warranty? Have you called and just checked this out? I've never heard of an international warranty before as it would seem that the manufacturer would need to warrant this product to it's original owner where ever you move? I could be wrong....heck I'm often wrong as above proves.

It is amazing the number of people complaining about losing their sound, normally it is just a setting or needing to roll back a recent change, upgrade a driver and the like. I use powered speakers and if I get a outage the turn off, normally always on and when I turn my desktop on no sound and I chased this problem for hours to realize the issue. Yours is unfortunately a mystery to me. Sorry for your frustration and I hope you get a quick turn around on the warranty. You would be smart to back up or image your drive and be prepared to swap to a new unit !

the most suitable solution would be that my audio card is done =), because i really tried everything possible on windows, even checked bios to see if it was activated so well i think it must be coming from the componant ^^

thanks someone else also told me to try this
burn a livecd of unbutu nothing will be install on the om
on the desk try the ogg sample file audio, if there is still a problem
go to application, accesory and write : lspci | grep -i audio
it should display the name of the audio card
if not the problems come from the audio card
by the way if the audio sample works the problems come from the driver

Never saw this solution on internet so i think it could help other people =)
