I have been having problems with noise after (not before) upgrading to windows 7 (pro, x64) from Vista as well. The noise is constant while playing music, but if I set the format to "CD-quality" (12 bit) the noise is less - but still there. I have a Packard Bell Easynote MH-35 (labtop) and i think my audio card is integrated in my mothercard (the Packard Bell site at least recomended Realtek Audio drivers
). I have tried to use different versions of Realtek drivers, including the newest without any success. Also got a tip to update DirectX and my audio card to newest version, this also without any luck. Therefore, I'm posting here to hear if any of you have any good ideas?
