Windows 7: AC3 filter

AC3 filter
okay so just installed AC3 filter. I had it installed on my other(older) laptop.
Now the problem is that AC3 is not detecting audio/or my system.
here is a screen shot:

the decoder info sais:
Code:
Input format: Unknown - 0
User format: PCM24 2/0 (stereo) 0
Output format: Unknown - 0
Also I cannot us the equilizer or any other features, and as a side note not even the cpu usage% is not working.

Any ideas?
