Windows 7 - X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI

hello, i posted few days ago request for help in one thread from xfi but no help, so im starting new thread.

so : i have SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI OEM.
can someone help me step by step what to do to enable the mic ?
have following problems : cant find any useful drivers cause during installation are some errors like :
- myimg.de - kostenloses Bilderhosting

also cant install SB audio panel described in this thread : Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express

pls help what and what sequence to install to enable the mic ON.

If you haven't tried it yet this,

probably has the best chance of success.

Also you say it is an OEM card, wouldn't happen to be from Dell would it?

i don't know if it is dell or not, just my friend give me thos card due to unenable mic, started google and find some resolves but no one from them wont work also i have win 7 x64

during installation : i extracted this package, and there is following error :
myimg.de - kostenloses Bilderhosting

OK let's see if just the driver will install manually. Follow the instructions here,

Driver Install - Device Manager

when you get to step #5 navigate to the extracted folder and point it to the following in it,

P17X_SupportPack_2_7\Drivers\vista

If the driver installs you should then be able to run the setup in the extracted folder to get the rest to install.

it helps a little but there is another problem :
during the installation process :

and i cant finish the installation

any help ?

Sounds to me like it would be easier to buy a new card that is compatible with windows 7...

any help? cant still use my MIC !
