Sony Voice Recorders and the MSV format
I don't know if this will help many people, but I just ran into this brick wall.
My boss has a Sony voice recorder, and I needed to pull off some files for her. They were in MSV format. Yay. My computer cannot read these!
For anyone that needs a solution to reading these files (especially if you do not own a Sony product), you need a special plug-in.
Sony WILL NOT give you this!!!!
Yes, you must figure this out on your own! Tech support was useless.
So, for any of you that need to read these files, you need this plug-in (free and genuine. I use it myself)

Hope this helps any out there frustrated with this same problem!
NOTE: This works just fine on my main computer, but WILL NOT work on my Virtual Machine (running 32bit Seven)
