Headphones don't work, they used to until format and re-install
Yea I had to format my PC and re-install windows 7. When I originally had it installed I went to playback devices and picked set as default to get it to work. After the re-install, the headphone device always said headphones not plugged in (though they were.) I since browsed the internet, went to Realtek and installed the drivers. Now, the headphones don't show up at all. How can I fix this?
What are your PC's specs? Please fill them in in System Specs under User CP.
Once we know this we can point you to the correct driver from the manufacturer.
Downloading drivers directly from your PC manufacturer's website ensures that the driver's will work and be more tuned to work with your PC than the generic ones you download from Realtek (this is especially true of Realtek).
