    No sound after Win7 installation

    Hi!
I have installed Win7 on my HP dv6316eu, after using Vista previously.
Since then I have no sound on the internal speakers (headphones work) anymore and some of the soft touch buttons are not working anymore. (HP says that this Notebook is not supported with Win7 as OS). I have tried several different drivers including the Vista one and uninstalled the soundcard etc.
I donīt care about the soft buttons but if anybody could help me with the sound thatīd be great!
(Left mouse button on the touch pad is not working aswell, might be broken or could that be a driver issue aswell??)

    Thx in advance!

It will help everyone in the future if you completely fill out your specs since it is of a benefit to all who will try and help you. What you can do for your sound is load the Vista drivers from HP as Seven allows you to run in Compatibility Mode and would more than likely run fine with Vista SP2 drivers for your sound card.

If you install an earlier driver (from vista) you need to install it in compatibility mode.

(right click the installer>properties>compatibility> choose OS
