Windows 7 - Earphone jack output setting?

| | Earphone jack output setting? Hello, I'm trying to connect my laptop to my home theatre system. Ive been using the ear phone port with a jack to jack cable and also a rac y cable spliter and phono cable. In both situations the sound is extremely bad. I've tried two sets of wires and tried playing different files And the result is the same. I've also connected my iPhone to the home theatre in with way without a problem. This makes me think there is a problem with the laptop and maybe a setting needs to be changed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what settings need to be changed? Thanks for your help |
