Windows 7: Creative Audio Console problem

Creative Audio Console problem

During the Windows 7 beta I was able to use the Creative Console Launcher to control various aspect of my sound card, headset, and recording device. However since I picked up a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I have been unable to get the console even display my sound card as more than an output choice for the headset's recording features.

I hope someone out there knows of some solution to get those controls back. While the control panel works, it does not offer the more advanced functionality like cross wiring the output of one device to the input of another (which was leaps and bounds better for guitar recording then using a patch cable to physically connect the devices). Also haven't found any way to adjust the global equalizer for the sound card ever since the loss of the console launcher's extra functionality (bass tones are too strong outside of WMP12 without it).
