Strange buzzing noise when playing media files

I just got my new EEE PC with AMD Athlon Neo K125 processor and 2 GB ddr3 ram and I noticed that when I play media files (any kind avi, mp3. mkv...) there is a persistent annoying buzzing sound, sort of like a hesitation of some sort.

The Neo processor isnt meant to be a powerhorse but mp3 files and low res video should not suffer. There's a lot of other threads explaining the same problem but no actual fix. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
    Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. However I 'roll backed' the audio driver to the microsoft one and still issues with the buzzing noise.
I dont know much else to do there has to be a fix to this.

no its not that kind of buzzing. It's more like the hard drive is stalling or something. I connected the laptop to an hdtv via hdmi and still the buzzing noise persists.

If anyone is having the same problem, for me this problem was solved by disabling the ethernet adapter.
