Windows 7: system crash/freeze/restart while playing audio

Hi,

Whenever I play music, the system crashes. This has been happening the past 2 months and is very annoying since I am used to continuous music.

My apologies for the lack of information.
System specs
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit Retail
Originally the laptop had Vista home installed.
I installed Windows 7 more than 6 months ago and everything was fine for while. About 2 months ago, everytime I played music the system crashed after a few seconds of play.
Tried many things but to no avail. Finally, about 2 weeks ago I formatted the hard disk and did a fresh install of Windows 7. But the problem persists. It is not a Blue screen(system restarts when the option is turned on, otherwise it freezes). There is no minidump folder in Windows directory but there is a Memory.dmp file that is quite large.

I bought my laptop(Toshiba Satellite L310) new in August 2009 - almost a year and a half ago.
Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz 2.0Ghz
4 Gb Ram

Hope all this info helps.The Memory.dmp file is too large to put up(39.6mb zipped 224mb unzipped)
