do you know how to go into device manager to the audio device and use the snipping tool to upload a pic for us? It should look like this

its a desktop, when i went into device manager is did not show the audio device tab. i checked in my bios to make sure the hd audio was on was on and it was
just to add i had vista before this and it did work. it was suggested to me by someone else to reinstall vista on a spare harddrive and make sure the audio still works on that and then copy the vista drivers to my windows 7 harddrive.

You might try this link to the latest EVGA drivers for your board.

I have same problem as dual boot Vista64 with win7x64, my WMP can play video with sound on Vista but no sound on Win7. so I search for "no sound on WMP" and later install this pack :
Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com
and now it had sound on Win7
maybe it work with you also.
