Splitting Sound Outputs

I have decided to rid myself of "the disk" and upload my music and videos to my hard drive. So far it has been great. I split my monitor so I can work on the computer monitor and allow the family to watch video on the HDTV. My question is now, how can I redirect one audio signal for movies and music to one set of TV speakers and direct another simultaneously to the computer speakers? Any suggestions?
