Are you using the latest drivers or are you using device manager to find updates for you?
Could you post a snip of your device manager with the audio device expanded?
Could you also post a snip of your playback device configuration? Go to your system tray>right-click the speaker icon>select playback devices>select the device with the green check-mark(tick)>select configure

Means you haven't installed the driver for the onboard audio and it is running off of the default Windows audio driver. Follow the link Lomai posted to get the proper driver for it and then you will have the same control panel you had in Vista and that p5bdkw posted.
