Since this apparently (from your post) is a game related issue and everything else is OK, repost this on the gaming section.

You mentioned in the first post that it plays OK in Windows Media Player. Is it still OK in WMP or is it bad there now too? YouTube requires Flash Player and there are many known problems or potential problems with Flash Player. Make sure you have the latest Flash Player version.

Does it happen when you are on battery or does it happen when you are on AC (Mains) power? or both?

Play a commercial audio CD and see if the sound is bad with that.

If it works OK with one application, that normally says the sound is working OK and the problem is in the application programs.

Run the speaker configuration and test in the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound, Playback. Right click on the Speaker icon then click the Configure button. It should be set for Stereo Speakers and then click the Test. If the Test is OK that also says the sound module/drivers are OK.

I think that the problems is in tuba subwoofer ...i test the speakers but it only test right and left speaker not the tuba ...that speakers playing good when the sound is crappy i am taking the tuba volume down and it plays fine without the tuba...you know i cant understand that if its a speaker problem the sound will be crappy all the time but this shit plays good for some minutes and then dies!!!!i wish i had my sound back ...
