SBLive! or Realtek AC'97

Which is gonna be easier to get going? My alc605 seems to be a complete fail. Anyone around here know an easy way to get an old near original SBlive! to work?

Or should I just get a new card and be done with it??
If i should buy one, feel free to shoot some suggestions.

I installed the xp drivers on an old Dell and they worked except for the gameport i believe.

I did not have any speakers to use with that machine so i can only speak for the front head phone jack working.

Yup, got the old SBLive! working in seconds. Did a google search for SBLive! xp drivers, it was like the second link to a live pack from fileshack. Works fine, even the game ports.

F**k realtek.
